Tutorial: Create a Custom Mouse Pad

Step 2 - Delete the current photo.

This template file contains a photo, text, and a trim guide. The background layer is blank. This template is exactly the correct dimensions for the 9.25"x7.78" custom mouse pad.

 From the View Menu, make sure the Layer Manager Tab is checked.

Click the the "open eye" icon to close the eye to make the Background, text, and trim guide
  layers invisible. Be sure to click the photo layer to make it active.

Click the Selection Tool

Select the entire photo using the Ctrl+A keys.

Press the delete key (not backspace) to erase the current photo.

Press the Ctrl+D to cancel the selection and make the wavering dashed outline box
   disappear.
