Tutorial: Create a Custom T-Shirt or Sweatshirt

Learn how to create artwork for a custom t-shirt using PhotoPlus 6 free image and photo editing software in six easy steps. Download the 8.5"x11" shirt template that makes it easier than ever to create artwork that will print perfectly on your custom shirt.

Here are the steps you will take to create custom shirt artwork:

 Step 1: Open a shirt template.
 Step 2: Delete the current photo.
 Step 3: Place your own photo.
 Step 4: Resize your photo.
 Step 5: Customize your text.
 Step 6: Save PhotoPlus file and Export to a JPG file.

Let's get started...

Step 1 - Open a t-shirt template.

 Download the 8.5"x11" shirt template file (PhotoPlus format .Spp).

   Right-mouse click this link: 85x11 shirt_portrait

Note: The tutorial artwork is in portrait / vertical mode. You can easily change the orientation by changing the canvas size dimensions from the Image Menu.

 Choose Save As to save the file to your own PC hard drive.

From the File Menu, choose Open.

From the Startup Wizard, click Open Saved Work

Click Browse and locate the shirt template SPP file that you saved to your local
   hard drive.

Open the template file.
